I went "online" window shopping and saw this blog post at "i should be mopping the floor"
about how she painted only part of the wall a dark color and the rest she did a white
so this design is called "board and batten".

I find this is probably a better idea
than the entire black wall I had my heart set on.
I also find it easy on the eyes, especially if you also choose other colors instead of the darker hues.
ReplyDeleteI am also thinking of doing the same thing in one of the rooms in our house, we just have to agree on the color to use for the other half.
